Campus Pause.

A little play. A little balance.

THE STUDENT GAMING GUIDE / 03

A simple space to switch off.

A gaming break does not need an elaborate desk. Start with the equipment you already have and a small plan for your time.

Before you press play

  1. Finish a study checkpoint. Write down what you will do when you return, so it is easier to pick up your work.
  2. Clear some desk space. Move loose papers away from your keyboard or controller.
  3. Check your controls. Make sure the controls and audio settings suit the session.
  4. Choose a stopping point. Set a timer and avoid starting a long round just before it ends.
  5. Save and leave. When the break is over, save your progress and return to the task you wrote down.

A short desk checklist

Keep the setup practical. The aim is to enjoy a break and still leave time for the rest of your day.
